Slammers make a statement in Edinburgh

Tue 30 Aug 2011

The 21st edition of the Edinburgh Festiball was played at Peffermill Fields on the weekend of August 27-28. Thirty-two teams took part, playing at four competition levels, and 50% of them won prizes (trophies and beer).

The last few hours on Sunday were played in the rain, but before that, the tournament was blessed with dry weather and occasional sunshine, despite the storms swirling around Scotland.
